Ashton Creek

Concord Management's HQ is in Maitland, Fla. Their 'flagship' property is NorthBridge Apartments. Take a look at: http://northbridgesucks.blogspot.com or http://concordsucks.blogspot.com  for a LOT of negative information on them. In short my opinion is that Concord sucks at all their 140 properties in 7 states.

From my own experience for over 5 years at a Florida property I know that CONCORD has very poor management and maintenance.  There is a lot of turnover and positions remain vacant for months at a time.

4 firms are working together to put up low income housing, here is the info from their own web site. And of course they bring in American Utility Management for most of their properties, so you get screwed by both Concord and AUM.

American Utility Management
Who is AUM?  AUM is a third-party billing provider who has contracted with various condos and apartment complexes, including Concord, to provide utililty billing services. It is a totally inept and badly managed utility billing firm in Oak Brook, Illinois. To my own knowledge they simply 'make up' bills, it happened to me and others also report this fradulent activity.   If you live at a Concord property then you are probably being ripped off by AUM.

St. Lucie Place Apts in Stuart FL, was sited and aWarning Issued 05/04/2012 and 07/06/2012 by the State of Florida Professional Business Regulation, for ROACHES!!

MOST OF CONCORD MANAGEMENT LTD 139 APARTMENTS ARE INFESTED WITH SEVERAL OF THE FOLLOWING PROBLEMS, RATS, ROACHES, BEDBUGS, CRIME, DRUG DEALERS, GANG VIOLENCE, TRASH PILES, MOLD OR AN INCOMPETENT STAFF.

I guess this is why they have to trick people into signing a lease with them!!!

THEIR BEST TRICK IS TO HOLD UP YOUR PAPER WORK SO THEY'LL HAVE TO SHOW YOU YOUR APT AT NIGHT. YOU WILL NOT SEE THE ROACHES THAT NIGHT ANYWAY, BECAUSE THEY WILL SPRAY THE DAY YOU COME IN TO SIGN THE LEASE. THAT WILL HOLD THE ROACHES BACK LONG ENOUGH FOR YOU TO BE FOOLED. OR, THEY WILL SWITCH APARTMENT ON YOU AT THE LAST MINUTE. YOU WILL THINK YOU ARE GETTING A GOOD SAFE HOME FOR YOUR FAMILY. BY THE WAY, AT NIGHT YOU CAN'T SEE THE ROACH DROPPINGS IN CLUSTERS IN THE KITCHEN EITHER, SO BRING YOUR FLASH LIGHT.

Poor Customer Service

For anyone looking to move to any apartment community in Atlanta, do not move to any apartment community that is owned by Concord Management. I recently moved from one of their communities and they have the worst customer service I have ever seen.

The Manager at the complex never leaves her office so she never wants to talk to the residents and her boss is no better. Whenever you call the corporate office, the person that answers the phone down there is rude too. Lately they have had a new person answering the phone sometimes and she doesn't appear to be as rude, but everyone else down there doesn't know the meaning of good customer service.  If the people at the complex are rude, you expect the corporate office to be better. They aren't. So I suggest, if you apply for an apartment make sure it is not managed by Concord Management.
